Fantastic Four is in theaters and I can't watch it for few days.
I have read the reviews and they are not fantastic.
Even IMDb score is 4/10 and it turns out that Fantastic Four has been Doomed.

Has anyone watched it yet?
Is it that bad?
But it hit all the SJW required marks:(:)
The Fantastic Four ?

I... I don't understand how such a terrific premise could fail in cinema. You must be mistaken.
Not seen it yet, but here's what i gathered from other reactions:

It wastes Doctor Doom. Also, The Thing has no pants.

"its clobberin' time" is used by The Thing's brother before he beats him as a kid.

Doom looks like an idiot

Sue doesn't go into the other dimension, but gets powers somehow

Not even the director liked it (tweet he wrote was deleted, someone kept a copy, link included)

That's what I thought.
How can it fail?
I have to watch it soon. I can't skip it because it has bad reviews.

The problem isn't the F4, the problem is reboots and super hero movies period. I love them but come on man, this is getting stupid! :P

Yeah, those reboots are terrible. Fantastic Four, Spiderman, Star Trek and so on. Why can`t they stick to the good things? But noooh, they have to make reboots and think they can milk much more money from the audience.

I thought Trek was rather good. Completely different from everything else Trek, but that worked well for it.

Even if they were good, even of they were fucking awesome, it's over saturation. I was so torn when the 2nd Spider-Man reboot hit because I had to admit it was a good movie but I also had to admit the last thing the world needed was another Spider-Man reboot. :P
They put the 4 in a square ...

Seriously though, I was hopeful after hearing that Doctor Doom's actor was familiar with the comics, but I have no doubt that he's under used. After seeing the advertisements, I just can't be bothered. Fox's marvel movies have always been such a letdown for me. Even though they'll almost certainly be improved from the previous two, I think I'll just catch it on TV in a year.

I don't know. Reboot fatigue may play a role, but I still suspect that a few dozen batman reboots would still make quite a few entries, and that the fantastic four are still, as a base material, a bit too irremediably hannah-barberesque for today's tastes. Were the other fantastic four movies big successes ?

A movie topic that isn't started by Elmofungus?
I'm astonished.
Why can`t they make a movie about a super hero that has never been in a movie? Wonder Wart-Hog, for example, would be great!!!

I think you missed my Age of Ultron topic.
I made this thread so that I could see I someone has watched it or not.
But it turned to Fantastic Joke thread. :D
Thank you brothers & sisters for all the laughs.

So, should I watch it or save my money for GOG Weekly Staff Picks?

Or Toomuchcoffeeman.

That being said, the best superhero movie yet is still Mystery Men, close enough. And it got no reboot. Yay.
