For all the fans and casual enjoyers of Heroes of Might and Magic III and its awesome music, we have something for you!

This year, Game Music is releasing a re-edition of their very successful Heroes of Might and Magic III soundtrack on vinyl, and you can place your pre-order here.

As GOG is an official partner of the project, we prepared some special offers for you to go along with: -75% for all of the games from the Heroes of Might and Magic series. The discount will be available until May 31st at 11:59 PM UTC, so make sure you don’t miss out.

In addition, below we explore two newly released titles similar to Heroes of Might and Magic III, so read on, and get inspired for your next turn.

Hero’s Hour

Don’t get fooled by its simple-looking visuals, as Hero’s Hour is a deep and strategy-rich game that you can get lost in for a long time. The title is a bit of a hybrid, as when you explore the overworld and prepare your troops and resources, you are in a turn-based mode, but during the battles themselves, each of your units fights in real-time. It doesn’t mean you don’t have any control over the tide of the battle, as you can give orders or cast powerful spells to aid your side. The real twist in the formula lies in procedurally generated maps, which ensures that every time you play, there will be something new for you to discover.

Songs of Conquest

Even though it’s still in Early Access, Songs of Conquest is already shaping up to be a worthy spiritual successor to HoMMIII. With two full-fledged campaigns, there is already a lot to play, but the real shine of this game lies in the custom maps prepared by the community, or by yourself! Knock yourself out and create some crazy scenarios, or explore the ideas of others. No matter what you choose, a great soundtrack, awesome pixel art, and intense battles where strategy is your winning card await you.

If you’re looking for more Heroes of Might and Magic-like titles, our catalog features classic series like the Disciples, King’s Bounty or Eador: Genesis

Well, it's not really any worse. :P

Some alternative options, fresh from the anagram generator (though rearranged into slightly more sensible/amusing forms by yours truly):

Catty-Sayings Statecraft
Anya's Gift: Testacy Tract
Fatty Gits: Accents Astray
TittyCraft: Naga's Ecstasy (if they want to get the attention of all the porn-game lovers)
Testy, Gassy Antarctic Aft
Tasty Aces, Gritty Caftans

Sure, most of these probably wouldn't make any sense in the context of the game the devs of Frienstretrics are making, but at least they're not tricky to pronounce AND boring. Besides, most anime games' titles don't make any more sense than the above ideas, and people seem to like those. =D
