Hey Y'all,

Ive been playing the GOG version of Fallout 3 for a week or so but suddenly the game crashes now when I bring up the pipboy or hit the ESC key. Has anyone run into the same issue and knows what the deal is?

Yeah It's the game doing it not you or anyone else!
This started happening after a Galaxy update. Make a new shortcut directly from the game .exe, don't start it from Galaxy.

Disable the "Overlay" option on the Galaxy settings. The game will probably run fine then (same thing happened to me). It's because of the latest Galaxy update.

You should install YUP from Nexusmods, if there`s a version for Fallout 3. I have it for New Vegas.

And my first impression was Windows 10 did another forced update that broke something....
Thanks for the replies. It looks like disabling the overlay worked so now i can dump another 50 hours into it.
