FlynnArrowstarr: I do that with a lot of games that support it as one of my first IBM compatibles was a Tandy 1400LT with dual 3.5" floppies. I still have that computer somewhere in storage. My other fun old computer like that is a Zenith SuperPort with a low-density 3.5" and a 20 MB hard drive. =)

DCT: same here, my first IBM compatible was a Tandy don't recall what model number it was, kinda funny when I think about it since the first computer my parents ever bought us was a Tandy TRS 80 Color Computer 2 which was eventually replaced by a year later by a commodore 64 and then my first IBM compatible was a Tandy which got replaced a year later by 486 dx2 IBM PS/2
When I went to community college in the late 90s, the only computer I could afford was a Toshiba T1100+ laptop - 8088 processor, LCD screen and dual 3.5" floppies. That and a copy of Word Perfect 5.1 got me through the first year. The Tandy and Zenith were given to me during that first year as well, but were too big to carry around easily. The second year, I was given a GRiD 386 laptop with a grey scale VGA screen and an 80 MB had drive.
I had a blast with that little guy. Lots of Ultima and Wing Commander were played on that thing. Sadly, it developed a problem with the motherboard and I never was able to fix it properly.
My first exposure to computers was a Commodore Vic-20, which my brother bought, then a Commodore 64. My first computer I owned was a C=64 which then became a 128 and an Amiga 500. Unfortunately, I was newly married and in a very low paying job at the time, so I had to sell it to pay some bills off.
