Not really as most of their motherboards are manufacturer-specific AND 90% of the components are hardwired. You can probably put in more memory, swap out a processor (probably), and change out the hard drive but that's about it, AFAIK.

Different than part of the regular RAM which is used for video processing in case of the integrated GPU (like Intel).

Don't get your hopes up, BUT you can probably do an external expresscard graphics card running off its own power supply. link

That said, you're better off building a new pc.
