KneeTheCap: I like manager games, I really do. It's a real shame that most of them, that are translated in english, are about the same subject like hotel, restaurant, sports, airports, cities and things like that. What about the more... underground ones?
awalterj: For some reasons this is pretty much unexplored territory. I don't understand how we have managerial sims for everything else ranging from pizza shops to hospitals and whatnot but nothing in this category. The only game that I can think of is SIm Brothel, a free browser game that only has static (crappy) graphics and no sound but the gameplay is surprisingly fun. You have to hire anime characters from games/animated series/manga and employ them in your house of ill repute which initially consists of a simple wooden shack and which you eventually turn into a royal enterprise of great repute.
The game is worth trying for the simple reason that there aren't any other games like that out there, I mean the concept is very interesting and I don't understand why no one else has built on that theme.
The game can be quite challenging on the hardest difficulty if one tries to complete all the monthly quests.
Play it for free here (NSFW obviously, it's just silly little cartoons but you know how people are)
http://www.funny-games.biz/sim-brothel.html Funny enough, there's someone doing a remake of this on LoK, using Playshape assets. I played around with it a bit, but what's there isn't that great yet.
