KneeTheCap: I like manager games, I really do. It's a real shame that most of them, that are translated in english, are about the same subject like hotel, restaurant, sports, airports, cities and things like that. What about the more... underground ones?

awalterj: For some reasons this is pretty much unexplored territory. I don't understand how we have managerial sims for everything else ranging from pizza shops to hospitals and whatnot but nothing in this category. The only game that I can think of is SIm Brothel, a free browser game that only has static (crappy) graphics and no sound but the gameplay is surprisingly fun. You have to hire anime characters from games/animated series/manga and employ them in your house of ill repute which initially consists of a simple wooden shack and which you eventually turn into a royal enterprise of great repute.
The game is worth trying for the simple reason that there aren't any other games like that out there, I mean the concept is very interesting and I don't understand why no one else has built on that theme.

The game can be quite challenging on the hardest difficulty if one tries to complete all the monthly quests.

Play it for free here (NSFW obviously, it's just silly little cartoons but you know how people are)

Funny enough, there's someone doing a remake of this on LoK, using Playshape assets. I played around with it a bit, but what's there isn't that great yet.

KneeTheCap: So uh... anything else?
so did you buy lula seeing its available on here

Shadowstalker16: Anyone mentioned Huniecam Studio yet?

WBGhiro: Since it wasn't out when the thread was created, no.

Free Cities is nice, but still in development and text only. On the other hand it's free.
lol I didn't know it was dead I swear.

Yeah, I don't blame you the rampant necroing is really annoying. I wish certain users would get booted already.

Or at least an IP based restriction on alts. Or just banning the alts only so they waste away their life on one account.

Oh, don't be so harsh on them, you'd take away their only joy. :P

Nah, I agree, even locking their alt accounts would help a lot.
But there are so many methods to hide/ alter your ip, I doubt to see such a change.

Thanks for the heads up, will keep an eye an that though I am still waiting for a more professionally produced brothel simulator that will finally add the oldest trade of the world to the managerial sim genre. Considering all the silly and straight up wacky topics that make it into sim games one would think that a brothel simulator is hardly edgy and I can't believe it hasn't been
done yet by any professional studio. Or to put it into George Carlin's words:

"I don't understand why prostitution is illegal. Selling is legal. Fucking is legal. Why isn't selling fucking legal? "
Why is there some sort of witch hunt against necromancers here? It's not like necromancy is that MUCH of a crime.

My logic is that when a thread is dug up and people (necromancers) start answering 'years old' questions, it's most likely pointless, and because we have a really quick single frontpage, it just accelerates the decomposition of fresh and alive threads.
But I am ok with recycling or asking for updates about certain issues, matters and stuff.
Oh, and the Test must go on.

<i>"Necromancy is a crime. That is the law!"</i>

Never heard about that one, thanks for digging that up! Not surprised it's a German game, managerial games are very popular in the German speaking countries after all and in Germany they might censor violence more than in other places but there's less bias against sex in media. Too bad that Rotlicht Tycoon appears to be a sub-standard game though (if the few reviews I've found can be relied on), I was hoping there's at least one good brothel sim game out there, I mean there's just so much potential with that topic to make a highly entertaining in-depth managerial sim.
There is also Triple X Tycoon which is currently available DRM free in a Groupees bundle.
