takezodunmer2005: Looked at the list and the majority of those games are right here, but it's still good to know that the Arkam series are on that list, though Arkam knight has been infected with denuvo on steam so I'm wondering if it's not the case here.
It hasn't, I check not much over a week ago and it was still working without any restrictions I've been able to find. Pretty sure most were surprised when it showed up without drm but with almost all dlc, and free no less at the time.

That's good to know, even though I already have an unofficial offline backup! ;) I already have a denuvo-infected copy; hence the offline backup, I would not have it otherwise! ;)
I just received a PM that "Old World" works offline so I added it to the list. It's Early Access so if anything changes, I'll update it.
I doubt Warner really care about DRM on the Batman games at this point, they're just too lazy/cheap to patch it out of the Steam version.
I can also confirm solidly that Ghostbusters The Video Game Remastered can indeed be played without the client. In fact I'll go out on a limb and say that it is potentially DRM-free. The installation directories contain none of the normal dlls associated with the Epic client API.
However I have no other evidence to indicate whether it tries to call the client directly in some fashion or not.

Version reported as being "retail06" by the client, tested on a 100% client-free and offline Windows 10 machine today.

Now they just have to give this away for free and I can replace my Steam version of the game :)

Like most big companies, they probably look at the cost/benefit thing. I can imagine that few potential Steam buyers actually care about the DRM. (but who knows, it's not that I've done the statistical research myself)

It was almost free. During the $10 coupon sale(I think it was the winter sale?) you could get it for $2.49. Had I known the game could be played DRM-Free I would have gotten it then. I remember this, because I was arguing with myself that I should get it even if it's an Epic game, I could just buy it, play it, and never look back since it was so cheap. I just couldn't bring myself to take the leap. :(

Epic is the hero we don't deserve.
Anyone know if Vampyr is DRM-FREE here on Epic Game Store?

I don't have the game to test but according to PCGamingWiki, it looks like someone's tested it and flagged it as needing the Epic Client to run (the "E" Badge under the DRM column in the Availability section means it won't run without the Epic Client. Epic & Steam games that do run without the client have a green padlock with a gold star over it instead).
Kinda bummed Tetris Effect requires the Epic Launcher to be running... got a free $15 coupon when claining GTAV from the store.... and kinda not interested in Rebel Galaxy Outlaw till it arrives here (exclusivity period is up in a couple of months IIRC... but only Steam confirmed other release outlet so far)

Thanks for the info.

I do own Vampyr on Steam, so...if I want a DRM-FREE copy of this cheap one day, I'll probably grab it from GOG Connect or straight-up buy it dirt-cheap on GOG.

It's a really good game and a flawed diamond in the rough - yes, even despite its flaws, IMHO.

They should patch Denuvo out of Batman AK on Steam.
Same goes for Mad Max, too - I don't want to deal with Denuvo, if I don't need to and don't have to.

I believe Epic Store version of Batman AK doesn't even have Denuvo there.

IIRC, Origin version of Mad Max doesn't have Denuvo either.

I hope Mad Max and Batman AK wind-up on GOG one day.

Can it be confirmed that Control is still DRM-free?

They should do a lot of things, but they know the vaaaaaaaast majority don't care and it costs money and time, so usually they won't. Old EA games still require the same old SecuRom activations, because they can't be bothered to patch them out.
