DoomSooth: Just Cause IV worked for ten months with Windows 7 until the October 15th patch. They purposely broke it because they didn't want to support 7 anymore. The only way they're getting more money from me is if the first three games are released here.
Ah, thank you for confirming what has already been assumed.
What's worse is that the first three still work with Windows 7. What they did with IV doesn't make sense.
For the King which is free on Epic right now can be added to the list.

I tried to launch the game on 2 different computers and without the client, the game launched but freeze on the menu.
It could be something on my end though.

To test it I was actually playing the game a bit so at least for me it worked but maybe that's because I am using Windows 7. Maybe somebody with WIndows 10 could test it as well?

I did test it on 7 and 8.1. Did you use any launch options?
It looks something on my computer is not correctly setup...

BTW, the game seem too freaking heavy on resources for what it is, guess is just how modern unity games are made.

Yeah most dev companies are just too lazy to tweak the engine into an efficient one.

No, I did not use any launch option and yes, Uity games tend to be a bit resource heavy - there's only so much devs could do about it, depending on the game in question.

Btw: Maybe they patched it and you tested it before the patch? Just a guess but it could be?

Thanks for the input.
I did another try today and the game did run on another computer. Downloaded the game on laptop's Win8.1, copy the game folder to old desktop (Using Win 8.1 as well) and was playable, Slow AF but playable.

On laptop's Win7 (dual boot) I cant play it, no matter what I do. Will launch but wont play.
Doing the Epic launcher rename trick, it will play just fine (well, like crap is more correct).

So its something on my end and indeed the game is DRM-free :D

So you don't need the Epic Launcher for " For The King " but you need Gog Galaxy if you buy it in here ?

Humm, let's see:

a) Yes, Gog is evil and after all our children, or
b) Yes, for a while a bug caused the game to require Gog Galaxy, wich has been fixed yesterday.

Ontopic:

Amnesia the dark descent and Crashlands work on a different pc without the client, but Crashlands required the -epicportal trick

Not anymore. It was a bug and it has been reported my mrkgnao that it's fixed. So "For The King" is now DRM-free on GOG as well.

Edit: too late :)

Looked at the list and the majority of those games are right here, but it's still good to know that the Arkam series are on that list, though Arkam knight has been infected with denuvo on steam so I'm wondering if it's not the case here.
