pedrovay2003: That would be really cool if you could, thanks! The demos definitely still have Denuvo, so I can't imagine that the full games don't, but it's just so weird to me that they'd leave those and patch Detroit.

MarkoH01: Just tested Beyond Two Souls. Unfortunately it still wants Epic launcher and internet so no DRM-free here.
Ah, well, that sucks. I guess I'll go back to not knowing what Quantic Dream is doing, then. :-P Thanks for checking!
Hey, weird request, but would you mind checking the Epic versions of Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls again? The demos of both games are completely DRM-free as of today, but yesterday, they both still had Denuvo. I'm willing to bet the full games are the same now.

Does the "-EpicPortal" command line tag work on Heavy Rain? Detroit? Beyond Two Souls?

Detroit doesn't even need that, it's completely DRM-free. So are at least the demos of Heavy Rain and Beyond as of today.

It does not work on Beyond Two Souls. Since Heavy Rain was not updated and therefore still will have Denuvo in it I did not try the parameter. I can do (would have to redownload it first) but I have very little hope that it works.

That's so weird, I wonder why they patched the demos and not the full games; Detroit had the full game and the demo patched at the same time. I'm willing to bet both Heavy Rain and Beyond get updated soon here.

Maybe they simply forgot to patch those? I mean you could ask Quantic Dream.
For what its worth. I will download Heavy Rain and keep both games installed to see if they change something the next days.

I sent them a tweet, we'll see what happens. And thanks for being so willing to keep an eye out on these for us.

EDIT: It looks like both Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls are indeed completely DRM-free now, according to pcgamingwiki.

I can confirm this. Just started them without any internet and with Epic folder renamed!

From Epic with Denuvo to Steam with no Denuvo to Epic DRM-free. What a ride. :D
Stranger Things 3: The Game (actual freebie) can be played without the client.

At least it got patched-out on the Epic versions! I have Beyond Two Souls and Heavy Rain over there.

I played through Heavy Rain a while ago; and have Beyond: Two Souls backlogged.
Cool will add those to the list.

Is Detroit DRM Free too?

Detroit is DRM-free, yes. It got patched before the other two, weirdly.

Reasons to buy those Quantic Dream games now, or not:
+ I like games with a good story
+ They're DRM free!
- I'd rather buy them on GOG*
- My hard drives are getting full
- QTEs were the worst part of Fahrenheit

* I'll just wait...
