Note I was wrong about the Nvidia thing, it's just Asynchronous Computing that doesn't work right now. (whatever that means)

Doom FAQ about Vulkan states:
*Vulkan is not currently supported on NVIDIA GPUs with 2 GB of RAM on Windows 7 or on the GTX 690. Users with these GPUs need to run DOOM on the OpenGL graphics API.

So I guess it's just the combination of the less than 2 GB of RAM in those GPU's and Windows 7 that doesn't work.
Should work on other video cards with more RAM.

I hope Vulkan takes off, not using DX12 is a good thing.

I don't agree with the bolded statement. Not being stuck with DX12 is a good thing. Options are always good though and I think having both is a great place to be.

Yeah, that was what I meant. Just used the wrong words. :p
