Mwulf: I have a friend who loves RPGs, but isn't quite willing to get into any of the classic isometric CRPGs because they're "too complicated."
Naturally, I think this is a silly opinion. My initial thought was to just loan out some of my old game discs--but it turns out that most of 'em are too scratched up to install properly (curse you, imperceptible ground tremors). So... what about lending a GOG installer instead?
But moving a digital game from one user to another feels uncomfortable close to piracy/whatever.
So:
Is borrowing/loaning GOG's game installers ethical? Does GOG have an opinion on "sharing?" What do you think of this kind of thing, personally, random GOG users?
Only thing I can say is if you can, invite them over to play at your house if this is physically possible :) Naturally, I think this is a silly opinion. As for anything else, I recommend reading the User Agreement :)
