Once I married a Mexican immigrant, an entire branch of my family tree now hails from another country. As for everyone before that fateful day (FDR had a famous speech about a similar day), umm, none that are still alive. I think 3 generations back on Mom's side was Germany, and I'm not sure about my dad's side since he was adopted and he never really told us much about his birth family.
