RTS-Rogue-like in space. It just came up on my Steam feed thing, wondering it if it will ever come here.

Matruchus' wishlist entry: http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/distant_star_revenant_fleet
"Distant Star: Revenant Fleet is a real-time, space-strategy game with roguelike elements, featuring fleet-based combat with persistent ship upgrades in a dynamically generated galaxy. RTS meets roguelike in space!"

Looks interesting.
Yeah, the game definitely looks good and I am hoping it will arrive here in do time.

Roguelike elements YAY...RTS :|

Please note that i bemoan the RTS part only because they aren't a genre that I had a lot of fun with.
Nvm.

Matruchus: Nvm.
After watching that video, I remain unconvinced so I'd have to play this one myself :)

Yeah, both of us would :) But if it doesn't come to gog it won't happen. Crossing fingers.

Haven't had the chance to watch any vids on it. The cover art reminds me of Seven Shades of Mercury for Thief.

The concept makes me think AI War, but again, haven't had a chance to do more than copy paste links and say "looks interesting".

Who says Judas doesn't play games on Steam? Anyway, it won't come here. The devs even changed their minds about DRM free versions. I don't know the details but they sent mail out to their backers letting them know they won't be giving the option of DRM free when they originally planned to. Check its desura page where the dev has a 'conversation' with a disgruntled consumer.

Yeah you are unfortunately right about their drm stance. I never use desura so didn't check there. Ah, well a lot of other games then to look out for. And yeah I know Judas uses Steam (CK2).
