So their schitck is going to be to create extremely basic games with no effort whatsoever and sell them only based on the controversy?

I personally hope that it fails, not because I'm offended, but because it's the epitome of laziness. Anyone remembers the wave of terrible GTA clones with over-the-top violence and swearing to mask their mediocre (and sometimes broken) gameplay? Looks like it's happening again, but with basic arcade games.

Something for the developers, if all you have to offer in your game is controversy and you're unable to provide even an half-decent gaming experience or put some effort in your games, just quit being a game developper and get a blog or a tumblr account.

Another project which Putin ruined... ^_^

Fighting genuinely evil people ? Sure, I don't object to this game existing.
Not that I would be interested in actually playing it, I seek out games to get away from every-day woes.

No idea what hatred is, but this hold no interest for me what so ever, meh, sticking with the Arma series.

That's not part of the description - it's the Steam store itself that decided that IS Defense is like Stardew Valley

I'm not sure if the game will be any good, especially looking at the devs' previous game. If the outraged can keep their pacifier on long enough, it'll be forgotten in a week. But I suspect some journos won't be able to do it.
Its a game from a studio that tries to sell crappy games through PR they get from outrage from perpetually offended journalists.

I will give them this, at least they are up front on the game being more or less on rails compared to some OTHER similar games...
