ConsulCaesar: Remember you can vote here: https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/devotion
I voted, but at 84 votes it will need a lot more support. Edit: It is climbing at a decent pace.

Shame they bent the knee.

"After receiving many messages from gamers, we have decided not to list the game in our store."

...the fuck?

That would have been an instabuy for me.

Well, Gog, you received "many messages from gamers"? I'm a gamer, and here's a message for you:

Oops, the contents of my shopping cart for your winter sale have vanished. Too much hassle, I can't be arsed to fill it again.

Did you get it?

If you have a Twitter account keep the pressure on GOG.

The developer's post is not even a day old and even included a store page link.
It's really a huge dick move towards the devs.

That they don't want to sell the game that's one thing, not the first game not sold on Gog, but announce that they will and then change their minds five minutes later....

Blaming non-descript "gamers" for this is truly pathetic. I am hard to disappoint but this really does it.... And I don't even care about the game.

Why does absolutely nobody have a spine when it comes to dealing with China.... Yeah I know the answer is money, but good to see that it takes precedence over integrity too.

Sadly that is not a first either. Xseed got a similar treatment (albeit it was on a larger notice window) when they were about to release Wizardry Labyrinth of Lost Souls here.

But that one DID eventually show up so we shall see.

Welp my Shopping cart is cleared.
Fuck the winter sale.
I was also trying to talk Microprose into releasing their upcoming sequel to Carrier Command here.
Wont Support that.
Fuck You.

You know, I going to be considering long and hard about shopping here again.
Once again you bend the knee.

I think Zoom Platform (not the mobile app) is more deserving of my money, we will see.

What do they really think in the Chinese version of the GOG forum? Is there any discussion about it?

Man, those Chinese politicians I mean gamers sure are fragile, aren't they?

Seriously GOG, I would've bought the game too. This is bullshit. You could just block the game from being bought in China.

For Wizardry is was understandable because of the legal issues surrounding the license, for Devotion there no such thing.
