As the title says, Dead in Vinland's developers CCCP have been interviewed by the french newspaper Le Monde, essentially talking about costs and revenue.

NB: post made in Dead in Vinland forum and general french forum, too.
Nice. Thanks.

For those who can't into french, here are the interesting points :

- Dead in vinland has sold 28 048 copies, 74% of the overall revenue on steam, GOG made 7%, Origin 6%.
- Still not in the green : overall budget was 500 000 euros, but half of it were some kind of state help (french and european ones). They hope that the switch release will correct that.
- The studio takes only 5 euros on each sales at the 15 dollars price point (rest is steam/gog, tax and their publisher).
- 60% of the players come from France, US and Germany.
- They should cover everything next year, and gain something the years after.

EDIT: 7% of 28k should be around 2000 copies sold here. Dead in vinland is also on the 34th page on the best sales ranking.

That doesn't sound good for any game after page 34. Shame, really, as there are some pretty good titles there.
