LootHunter: Yes, that was totally true. During the USSR era, Iron Curtain was a reality. In the 90-s things from abroad became more accessible but they were quite expensive. And licensed media, like movies and software, were hard to come by even then.
Thanks for the history lesson/info.

Cadaver747: Yes, the iron curtain was fierce, I heard only the elites and their relatives got access to foreign media plus there was a dark market for such illegal stuff and the prices were high so were the possible consequences with the law.
And thanks to you as well.
Cadaver747: After the fall in 1991 we got everything, I remember watching the amazing sci-fi TV series called Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future and Ninja Turtles animation along with Duck Tales, those were the best. Sigh...
I loved the old TMNT show, Duck Tales(also like the new one as well), etc.....such fun shows and a special part of my childhood(old cartoon shows and the like).
Cadaver747: I posted: "I watched the original video clip of Marilyn Manson", how exactly I should have say it properly?
As I said above: I think you both just misread a bit what the other one said, and this is all just a case of miscommunication. All seems to still be good in the hood :)
*GR hands them both some fruit flavored punch*
"Enjoy, relax, have a good time.......wheeeeeeee!"
