Got your own song for a beatin’ to the beat? Feel the rhythm, get free games!

The musically inclined Crypt of the Necrodancer is here, ready for you to get groovin’ to beat the baddies better with your awesome dance skills.

We want to make the DRM-free arrival even more special, and that's why we need your help with creating our unique GOG.com Crypt of the NecroDancer playlist! Pick a tune that would rock some skeleton-socks off and submit it in this thread - later on, we'll take a community vote on the Top 10 awesomest tracks and reward the winners.

1. Pick a song you think would do well as the background for an in-game boss fight. If you're the musical type, it can even be your own song!
2. Post a comment with a link to the song and up to 50 words explaining why it’s the one before the deadline.
3. Win GOG.com game codes!

Bonus challenge: got the game already? Record yourself playing with the song of your choosing to prove that it’s possible. It won't guarantee a win, but we'll throw in an extra bonus code if you make the Top 10!

You have 48 hours - that is until Saturday, August 15th, 1pm GMT to post your entries. We aim to pick winners from across the English, French, German, and Russian forums before the end of next week.

Get jiggy with it!
Forum popping. Song posting to come later.

GOG.com: and up to 50 words explaining why it’s the one before the deadline.
Damn, I'll have to find the "word count" function in LibreOffice :o)

EDIT : WAIT!!!! Do you mean 50 words maximum or minimum?

50 max. It's not a super-hard limit though, you might still win if yours is 51 words. ;)

OK, I'll go through my playlist and write some short poetry for tomorrow ;)
Kansas - Magnum Opus

That song is epic! It starts slow, but it's building to something. Around the 3 min mark, everything explode but not in a violent way, more in a "oh, the boss is changing form" kind of way. The final form happens around the 6 min mark.
Oingo Boingo - Dead Man's Party

The energetic beat fits the tempo of the songs featured in the game. Additionally, the lyrics lend themselves to the environment of the crypt and the dark monsters that inhabit it almost as if the boss you're fighting is the one singing the song.
Nice contest!

Only trouble is picking one song out of my music collection that will fit... I've already got two that would work off the top of my head..

Can we enter more than once?

Dancing At The End - the name says it all...quick beats and a great end for a defeated boss.

Chop Suey by System Of a Down

Epic enough for any boss fight, but also varied - sometimes slow, sometimes fast, sometimes loud, sometimes quiet - making for an interesting and dramatic fight.
Pop-Up - ZOE.LEELA

Imagine yourself fighting a boss while your body can't resist the need to GROOVE.

Catchy, fun, easy to loop, 8-bit style base... this song has it all. And it's FREE!
T-ara - Roly-Poly in Copacabana . It's alternative version of Roly-Poly . But really funny Korean song :) It fits that game :)
Should we be thinking specifically of one of http://crypt-of-the-necrodancer.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Bosses or just boss fights in general?
Ok, let's go with:

The White Stripes - Seven Nation Army

Generally a great song, but also reasonably simple so should be good to play along to. It's driving and ominous enough to be the backing to a boss fight too, and the lyrics/title are also a fit for a battle

But there are so many others I could choose...
I've got to think... I've already gone through a few, and each seemed right for a moment, and wrong just a second later.
