Swedrami: The sequel to Ash of Gods: Redemption, Ash of Gods: The Way released today, doesn't look like a day-1 release on GoG is still happening.
Thank you!

There are two more entries in Trazere series: Worlds of Legend: Son of the Empire and Hexx: Heresy of the Wizard.
Melon Journey Pocket, prequel of Melon Journey: Bittersweet Memories , is available at least on Itchio but not on GOG.

Well, at least they're thinking of us, and we're getting the same treatment as Steam:
This game is created to run on Gameboy-compatible systems such as Sameboy, Analog Pocket and more... XSEED and Poppy Works are currently investigating how to best provide this game to players on the Steam and GOG platforms. If we can successfully do so, Melon Journey Pocket will be a free launch option alongside your Steam or GOG purchase of Melon Journey: Bittersweet Memories.
Has anyone brought up Fallout 76? I mean on the one hand it's technically a game in the Fallout series that isn't here but then, how could it be?
Dungeon Bowl 3 is out but not here

Also what about Dungeonbowl?

Fallout 76 is an online-only game, so it's disqualified from the list.

Yeah thought that was probably the case - I can't see the rule in Prah's blurb at the very start of the thread though - maybe he should add something about that?

*edit* of wait yeah 'MP-only games" wondered what that stood for - Duh!

Seems debatable whether Dugeonbowl is online multiplayer or not reading though so it's a difficult call- it's own blurb bigs up the offline vs CPU mode though...

This doesn't seem like it is playable natively on PC, no? Please correct me, if I'm wrong.

Fallout 76 is considered MP/online-only. Won't make the list for now.

I'll add Blood Bowl 3, it does have an SP campaign!

Dungeon Bowl Knockout Edition seems to have been an MP/online-only title.

No, it isn't, but GOG has multiple games that are emulated, as observed in this thread, so I'm unsure why it would be a problem, specially for a group of systems as accessible as the Game Boy's. They just need to wrap the ROM with an emulator that's permissive enough about its usage and pronto.

It is a standalone Gameboy ROM. I personally wouldn't consider it a PC release, just because it is sold on a digital store. Otherwise, what's the difference between adding this or another Gameboy game like the first Shantae?

Yeah, that's my reasoning too

This sounds like a potentially faulty methodology, considering how accessible and useful emulation can be.

To add to the point, one video I quite like about the topic and thoroughly recommend, and please do not be put off by its length if you plan to watch it, is Frank Cifaldi's "'It's Just Emulation!': The Challenge of Selling Old Games" speech at 2016's GDC.

I think the real issue is that the are selling literally just the ROM file on Itch.IO and telling you to go find an emulator to run it in

In all honestly there are emulated ROMS on the list like the Streets of Rage games that are a part of the Genesis / MegaDrive classics collection but there Sega owns everything and has packaged it all together with their own emulator and super fancy front-end to run straight out of the box

There's no way that GOG would sell 'raw' ROMs (and disk and tape files) without an emulator packaged in and no way that Nintendo's super litigious and protective legal dept would allow third party emulator to be sold commercially, especially not on non-Nintendo hardware
Doesn't Speedball 2: Brutal Deluxe count as one of these
inferior "original" versions
that you don't add and maybe should be removed? Or is it more like an
"inferior" original version
- that's a pretty fine distinction!
