Xabyer_B: I tried the demo at Steam's summer event. The game is good, although it's not the best adventure I could try at that event.
ConsulCaesar: Any recommendations?
Please note that many of these games are being developed now. They are expected in the coming years, at the earliest some later this year. With these in mind, let's go.
If we limit to graphic adventures:
-The Drifter
-Nine Noir Lives
-Children of Silentown
-Mutropolis
-Aurora: The Lost Medallion Episode I
-Slender Threads
-Crowns and Pawns: Kingdom of Deceit
-The hand of glory
If I had to bet on the best, they would be The Drifter and Children of Silentown. Without a doubt, they are the demos that I enjoyed the most. But that doesn't imply that the rest of the game is going to be as good as the demo. On the rest, I have only kept an eye on them to see the final result. I do not have very high expectations about them.
if you are looking for one with an interface designed for gamepad, you have one here pretty decent.
https://www.gog.com/game/roki -Röki is a medium quality graphic adventure as far as puzzle design is concerned. (Of course, the art is quite good, bouth visual and auditory).
If you like Amanita style (chuchel, samorost, botanicula, machinarium, etc), I recommend you:
-Papernauta
-Growbot
-tohu
If you search something with mixed genres:
-Backbone
It has a 2D interface designed to gamepad like The Cat Lady, some of Stealh mixed with some Graphic adventere elements and other elements. You can still try the prologue for free. It is a very interesting proposal. I am looking forward to seeing the end result.
And completely leaving the genre as an extra, two Zelda-style games
-Tunic
-Eastward
Do you have enough with these?
