Time to revive some childhood memories! Whether on your own, or with your family – the colorful and nostalgic world of Smurfs waits for you to explore it anew. That’s right; The Smurfs 2 - The Prisoner of the Green Stone is coming soon on GOG!

In this adventure action game, you’ll get a chance to rediscover the world of our favorite blue friends. You’ll see that Handy Smurf, a brilliant inventor we all know, has devised an extraordinary creation called SmurfoMix; however, a vital component, the Green Stone, is in the clutches of the notorious and covetous Gargamel. Determined to retrieve this crucial ingredient, Handy Smurf and his team will embark on a perilous mission to infiltrate Gargamel's laboratory. Unfortunately, a fatal misstep occurs, resulting in a catastrophic explosion that shatters the Green Stone into fragments, scattering them across the treacherous Cursed Land. Not only has this incident unleashed the incredible power of the Green Stone, but it has also triggered a new malevolent force known as Stolas, who seeks to sow terror and chaos. In order to prevent the world from descending into utter disorder, a specialized team of four brave Smurfs must embark on an adventurous quest. Their objective is to locate and assemble the scattered fragments of the Green Stone before it's too late, and the world succumbs to the impending chaos brought forth by Stolas and the untamed powers of the stone. Are you ready to join?

Soon on GOG!
As a Smurfs fan, this made my day. I'm so happy a sequel is coming, I genuinely loved Mission Vileaf, so this is a really nice surprise. For a cartoon tie-in, the team behind Mission Vileaf did a great job capturing the Smurfs world and making a fun game IMHO. On the wishlist this goes!

Always great to see big names here. Excited for the Tintin release, too!!
I will tattoo my arms like Hefty Smurf! 💘 💘 and not let Gargamel affect me with yellow hate disease, like in Hefty's Heart episode... now...."to infiltrate Gargamel's laboratory" and "to locate and assemble the scattered fragments of the Green Stone before it's too late and the world succumbs to the impending chaos(...)" succumbus?
I remember it was Gargamel who sent Succubus to the village but Pappa Smurf turned it into pr`ette Smurf! It will be all right this time too! ^ Yes, want to play it.

Being someone who likes Smurfs, the game did a great job capturing the world and style of the Smurfs. Smurf village felt lively, with Smurfs walking all around, and made you feel like you're a part of their world.

Gameplay-wise, it was fun and well made with some good platforming. The main goal is spraying plants with the Smurfizer to heal them, which reminds me of Super Mario Sunshine. You can also use the Smurfizer to reach new areas by extending plant bridges, or zooming across the sky by following paths. One level even had a stealth mission.

Honestly, as Smurfs fan I enjoyed my time with Mission Vileaf.

Edit: I should also add, it's also really fun just to explore the world. I still boot up the game from time to time just to play and explore the levels in this game.

I'm looking forward to it, as the first game was ok, but I won't be buying it just yet. I'm just concerned about the technical aspects of an upcoming release. Mission Vileaf has a vsync tied to jumping issue that has never been corrected, and the frame pacing is atrocious. It's fixed by using Rivatuner and setting the game's fps limit to monitor refresh, but still........should have been fixed long long long ago. I'll hold off until that is addressed, if ever.
