Sinking City is coming soon DRM-free.

The Sinking City is an adventure and investigation game set in an open world inspired by the universe of H.P. Lovecraft, the master of Horror. The half-submerged city of Oakmont is gripped by supernatural forces. You're a private investigator, and you have to uncover the truth of what has possessed the city… and the minds of its inhabitants.

Folks, we know that The Sinking City has disappeared from several platforms. Our team is working to fix this. In the meantime, you may purchase the game directly from our website: http://ow.ly/xFkj50AiOi2. Additionally, it is now available on Gamesplanet: http://ow.ly/vQJX50AiOi1.

I wonder what happened. Was it a bug that caused the game to disappear from GOG and Steam? Makes no sense. Either way, I'm glad they brought it up.

I don't think it's a bug, otherwise it would have been fixed by now. And Steam and Gog having the same bug seems highly unlikely.

I consider it's more likely it's a "legal" issue, as in they didn't fully read the contract they signed with Epic and did something they shouldn't have, as in, I don't know for example they were authorized to sell the game on their own site after X months but were only authorized to advertise and sell it on competing platforms after X+Y months or something like that.
Yeah, legal disputes over publishing is the more likely scenario. Anyway, thanks Psykhophear for posting it.

I've played The Sinking City on Nintendo Switch and it works and plays great. Of course, it's on a console so I can't say for certain if it translates well on PC.

Yes. I believe it's a paperwork blunder more than technical one.

Whats going on GOG / Frogwares ? Do you want my money for the game? Then I want to know if it will be published here...
Any additional info on release date ?
No date, they are just struggling to make it out on platforms where it was originally announced.
It's just came out on EA store now, they are still working for Steam and GoG...
I don't know what problem caused this removal, but you don't need really much more to greatly impact the success of a release. (most of the sells and popularity are made the 1st week)
Frogwares has a problem with Focus Home Interactive. They have been holding on to Frogwares game IDs that they are not authorized to publish any more. This may be associated, though it doesn't appear so: Frogwares should invest in a competent lawyer before engaging in any contract talk in the future, methinks.

It's not that simple. It's Ukrainian developer against a French company. If you want to sue the publisher for their crap policy change (i.e. "we won't transfer store access to the developer when our publishing deal ends") that happened after you signed a deal with them, you have to go to court in their locale. Can you imagine French company with 50mil Euro equity losing in French court to a small Ukrainian developer? I sure can't.
Where is the Sinking City drm free? I will one copy buy for my own. On Frogwares website you can buy this copy game drm fee no platforms only your copy game cool old years yeaah :)

If the Ukrainian dev has the right of it, I can imagine it. However I've seen it happen a lot here.

It was available on the Epic Games store for awhile but now it's gone. The only way you can play the game at the moment is on the Nintendo Switch.
