Ostriv is coming soon, DRM-free.

Ostriv aims to raise the bar of city-building experience by adding a huge amount of possibilities and removing annoying limitations. It allows for truly organic town layouts without the grid and angle restrictions on a three-dimensional landscape. The goal is to make player's creations to become alive and believable communities where real-life problems would arise, thus making the late game a new challenge rather than a repetitive chore.
From the trailer it seems like a solid meditative gaming experience.
I would like to find out how it compares to Banished, mostly if it's "chilling" vs "it gives chills to your bones". xD
Devs offer drm-free alpha on it's paige. You got to pay 20$ buck for it, so if anyone's interested, check this:https://ostrivgame.com/home/

This is looking like an "instabuy when released" type game.
yay!
Yes. This could be something I'll greatly enjoy. Wishlisted.
Windows-only (Unity?) game?

From what I can find. The engine is custom. Windows for now but Linux (and maybe Mac) is on the roadmap to be added later.
Its definitely not my poison of choice but it does present some interesting elements to it that put it soundly in the "when it goes on a good sale I will pick it up" category. Hopefully it turns out well, but yeah Ill let others be the guinea pigs on this one.

Yeah, it does look aesthetically close to Banished, but with different mechanics I gather?
