Bohemian rhapsody.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is now available for pre-order, DRM-free on GOG.com. Get it now to receive the Treasure Map DLC as a pre-order bonus.
Your sword is vengeance. Your sword is destiny. Your sword is all you have left.
The civil war that ravages medieval Bohemia took everything from you and now a life in the service of a local lord seems the only available path. But only momentarily, because this dynamic open world is packed with role-playing opportunities and challenges, opening up into a gut-wrenching narrative involving historical characters of the era.

NOTE: The DRM-free version of the game will be released on GOG.com on February 27, due to the publisher's decision.

It's "old world" thinking, to help with immersion. ;p
I definitely want this one, the only "big" game coming this year I am interested in along Ready or Not.
Cannot afford it now, but at least that would give me time to evaluate the performance... I see that the requirements are higher than those of The Witcher 3, yet judging by the graphics it seem KCD would need less horsepower. It looks stunning, mind me, yet not as superdetailed as TW3. I wonder how my GTX770 would run it.
Looks great, would love to know too if the bonus pre-order stuff can be bought later.
* looks at specs * i need a new comp first...poop.
Nice to see the devs actually kept their word. One of the most important releases of a year on here is always a good thing to see...
Always good to see a high profile release on gog :)

Not my type though.
Not for my pockets and my specs but a great addiction to GOG catalogue apparently. Also nice to have another realistic medieval title.

How did they keep their word? If you mean by making a DRM free version of the game, at this time they said Kickstarter backers can't have a GOG version.

Hmm? Your second sentence is exactly what they promised: There will be one, but not for backers. (a strange decision though, which was the reason why I didn´t back it)
On the one hand:
Yay, they kept their word and make the game available DRM-free on GOG!

On the other hand:
FFS, I never pay more than 7€ for a game but I'd gladly pay 50€ for this game on Linux, it's all I ever wanted but still no sign of the Linux port they talked about years ago, ffuuuuuuuu!

Are the devs aware all they need to do is ask to get keys from GOG?
To be fair, they never promised a DRM-free version during the Kickstarter - IIRC they said it was possible but not guaranteed. Still pretty annoying that backers can’t get one, even though many of us were requesting it from day one.

Maybe not, but to provide that option now before the codes have even been released for either platform, and to everyone besides those whose money has funded this from the start is a kick in the plums.

Yeah, have to agree with that. :( I backed at a pretty high tier and I’m actually worse off in that respect than if I hadn’t backed at all.
