Stephen Weyte you say? You have my attention.
This looks absolutely great, I'm surprised I heard of it for the first time just yersterday. Nice coincidence!
This looks so cool, wishlisted it, can't wait to play it!
Day 1 purchase.
Yes, come here beautiful... Wishlisted. I may even consider a pre-order for this one if the publisher decide to take that move of course.
This game is hard to place. On the one hand, I see a lot of similarities to Hexen and other 90s FPS games. On the other hand, it's clearly more modern as well.
Reminds me more of heretic then hexen!
This will be an instant purchase for me.

Which is good. In my opinion Heretic was a masterpiece and Hexen was something else.

I would NOT go that far, I really liked some of the levels and music was nice and gloomy. What I disliked was rune magic ammo (green/blue/combined) and 4 weapons limit. I thought it was utterly stupid but everyone was so happy about that game back in the day.
But I really liked Hexen II even though they took the same ammo/weapon approach, the levels were amazingly well done.

Yeah that sucked Hexen II was MUCH better with the portal of praevus expansion and hammer of thyrion!

How? Graven seems to be more objective- and exploration-based than Heretic was. Just like, well, Hexen.
As for me, Graven looks like Dark Messiah of Might and Magic on steroids (and I LIKE THAT!!!) with more detalization in all aspects (interactivity, destroying different objects, more open space, etc).
P.S. Dev Team if you read my post, Thank You!!! for Windows 7 compatibility - that's great ヾ(^▽^)ノ !
Fantastic! Thanks GOG and publisher!
