Gorogoa is coming soon, DRM-free on GOG.com.
You're looking out to a dull cityscape on a gloomy day. Suddenly something colorful, almost magical catches your eye, and in a blink, it's gone. What was it? The mind races, imagination takes over and it starts forming images, associations, patterns, an adventure. Gorogoa's captivating illustrations, subtle use of music, and innovative puzzle mechanics make up the scrapbook of this adventure, which will tingle your senses in all the right ways.
neat. I was wondering when this was finally out

edit - there was a large demo for it about 3 years ago, but a quick google did not bring it up anymore...

Very original concept and gorgeous! According to the official webpage, it's coming out December 14th.
I suspect it's a short game, but it does look like an interesting take on Puzzle and P&C Adventure gameplay.
Wow, this one looks very cool. Wishlisted - and damn, that backlog, yo. You're killing me, GOG.

There is a demo linked on their site but hosted elsewhere, its build with jre, and the demo is 25% cpu all the time, my cpu was around 59 to 64 degrees celsius, so it is quite heavy on use, maybe its because its jre, edna and harvey are also heavvy resource hoggers also done in jre.

Designed, developed, and illustrated by Jason Roberts, Gorogoa is a beautifully hand-drawn story suspended inside a puzzle with a completely unique mechanic.
it looks okay but the demo is really a demo : maybe it needs a higher screen resolution then 1024x768 or 1280 , cause it looks weird on 1024x768 or 1280 x 768 , its not full screen, so the demo window looks like a windows application.

Edna and Harvey is full screen and looks more like a game and the options and menu look more gamelike.

Anyway its a demo so i assume the final game will look more like a full game instead of a floating window application.

about the requirements: there is no strikethrough so i used the underline

Minimum system requirements - Windows: 7 / 8 / 10

Processor: 1 GHz ................. ??? 1 GHZ and there is no mention of double or quadcore , so i safely assumed it is single core as a min. req.

the rest checks out fine

Memory: 512 MB RAM ......................................CHECK
Graphics: GeForce 6 or Radeon X1000 ..........CHECK
DirectX: Version 9.0c ...........................................CHECK
Hard Drive Space: 680 MB .....................................CHECK
Mouse, Keyboard .......................................................CHECK

Gog pulling no punches to our wallets and backlogs with their releases! Wishlisted as I am a sucker for puzzlers and hand-drawn/pixel art!
I'm... not sure about this, but it looks interesting enought to keep an eye on.
oh yesssss!!!!!!!

I became aware of this a couple years ago at this point and have been waiting to hear more

lovely

it goes near-top of the WL for sure!

Could someone explain the gist of this game? Is it basically using commonality between paintings to affect things?
I'm very much interested in this one, but due to GOG pulling their inexplicable random (non-)curation stunt with Opus Magnum I'm currently not inclined to give them any money right now.
Awesome, been hoping that this would come to GoG for a while. Great to see that it will be coming.
Took you a while to make this announcement. The game's page has been up for days.

Anyway, I've been evangelizing people on how great this game is for 5 years now based on the demo, I just hope that people go ahead and buy it now.
I just played the demo and I'm hooked. Looks like GOG will be raiding my bank account yet again in the near future! :)
Finally!!!
