Get ready! A sequel to the award-winning post-apocalyptic hit is coming soon to GOG.COM! In Frostpunk 2, players are once again tasked with playing as the leader of a resource-hungry metropolis where the expansion and search for new sources of power is an unavoidable reality.

But the apocalyptic world has moved on. After the age of coal, conquering Frostland for the oil extraction industry is expected to be the new salvation of what’s left of humanity. However, change does not come easily, and not everyone in this new multi-layered society will welcome this new direction….

If you simply can't wait to tackle the challenges of a frostbitten city, play the first part of the series and read an interesting article from one of the game's creators that we posted on GOG.COM some time ago.

That’s not all! Until 16th August 2021, 3 PM UTC, Frostpunk base game and its DLCs are available on GOG.COM up to 70% off.

AAAAAA!
I still haven't been able to buy the DLC for 1, slow down please! XD

Wishlisted for sure, Frostpunk is nothing short than superb. Probably the most tense atmosphere in any videogame ever, not kidding.
I played the first Frostpunk, I haven’t fallen in love, but I think it’s a very good game nevertheless. :) I’ll try the second one as well, but probably not on the release date.
No gameplay shown thus far, but wishlisted in the blink of an eye all the same. Hopefully by the time the sequel comes out, I'll be able to afford Frostpunk GOTY.
It's great to see the announcement of a simultaneous PC release which includes gog.
Oops. Haven't even finished the first one. Heard good things though.

Wasn't it released like last year?
Ugh, Frostpunk sucked up a good 200 hours of my life during the pandemic last year, looking forward to another 200 disappearing to this.
Oh, this came out of the blue. I'm happy! I was afraid that Frostpunk's story was definitively over after DLCs. If you haven't played the first game, it's worth much more than it costs - a very unique, satisfying gameplay and a worthy strategy challenge.

Frostpunk has been released in April 2018 and last DLC in August 2020 Still it will take a lot of time before sequel will be a complete product (all DLC/expansions and patches are released) so no rush is needed.

Oh wow.

Time seems to be flying. Will add Frostpunk 1 to my to do list. Have been finally finishing up Battletech.
high rated
I'll never understand why the GOTY edition regularly gets a better discount than the seasons pass. You'd think you'd want to reward the customers that have already given you money with the bigger discount. At least make them the same discount.
Can't wait! Loved Frostpunk.
Probably buy first day or even preorder, which I never do.

Frostpunk is one of the GOATs, can easily sink 100-200 hours into it.

Let white be, go green!
Sounds like the modern day, done coal, moving onto oil. The it will be electric to save us all (irrespective of it making vast tracts of lands uninhabitable for any living thing, and dredging up major sources of food etc.). Will that be frostpunk 3, the “smart” age?
