YIIK: A Postmodern RPG is coming soon DRM-free.

It ain't Alex that's paranoid. It's the world, mate - it's gone totally barking MAD! Armed with an unwavering obsession to prove his outlandish conspiracy theories true, he gathers an army of weir--- enlightened warriors and together they'll run the gamut of addictive JRPG activities: mini games, electro music, and turn-based fighting against foul monsters who blatantly disobey the laws of physics and fashion.

im still waiting for this dev to patch their first game (which has this gorgeous gameboy aesthetic, but is buggy & broken in many ways).

Great screen shots. Convinced me that this game isn't for me. That record player thing? I like my strategic jRPGs not to include action/rhythm/timing elements like that. Let me select things and see my results without having to mash buttons, etc. When I want games that do those, I'll play those games.

Otherwise (apparent story, appearance), this game looks like one I'd buy.

always check youtube cause many times games that arrive 'soon' or ' in progress' usually have a alpha/testversion and a number of youtubers get the alpha release/demo

check alpha version walkthrough to see more of the game (6 videos 2,569 views Last updated on Nov 27, 2015)
thats a game that has been in developement for a while, so always check youtube first cause the trailers you get with the game in various forums or stores are just too small and dont show enough of the game always check more of the game to see if the game is what it looks like.

goto you tube then search for : YIIK: A Postmodern RPG Let's Play Walkthrough Playthrough Gameplay

and see what its like ...

interesting and novel concept, would be fun to watch some lets play 1st, art ranges from nice looking to very ugly, will keep my eye on it


id probably be more inclined to buy it if it didnt have those jrpg mini games in it and it were more like an adventure game, but thats my preference, more power to those that like it

So we get stuff like this but At the Gates seems to be
