Who is the deadliest of them all?

Black Mirror is coming soon to GOG.com.
A re-imagining of the beloved gothic horror adventure series by the creators of The Book of Unwritten Tales. When his father commits suicide, estranged son David Gordon ventures into Scotland and the isolated family castle, only to find himself pulled into a maelstrom of sinister forces, deadly secrets, and nightmarish visions.

Watch the spooky trailer.

Will it feature a butler endlessly cutting onions?

Why ambassador, with this pre-order re-make your really spoiling us. Will it also cost lots of money and have goodies dlc, pretty please.
Will it only share the story with the first Black Mirror or be like the remastered Lucas Arts games which are basically the same as the originals just with better graphics?

I like the atmosphere of Black Mirror 1, but the controls are extremely clunky and slow, therefore I'd welcome a remake with better controls. BM 2 and 3 are much better gameplay-wise.

Here's what they say on their website:

Key Features

A modern re-imagining of the acclaimed gothic-horror adventure series
Interactions with vision-like apparitions which help you learn more about the past of your family
Eerie atmosphere focusing on the horrors of the mind, in the style of EA Poe and HP Lovecraft
High quality voice acting from a compelling ensemble cast

I saw this info when the remaster was first announced, but haven't seen any further details. One of the screenies on the site shows controls for consoles, so not sure how the PC version will look/work.

I'm sure it's all AAA third person 3D in there, thus justifying such horrendous system requirements. Unless, of course, they were wasting their entire budget on OOC cinematics with colorful cookie clutter Pixar looks? Well, we can't know, because even though the full release is only two months off, I haven't seen actual gameplay anywhere.

...I'm sure it'll be OK. King Art makes quality games. I just wish they wouldn't have wasted so much time and energy into Black Mirror. It's certainly subjective, but I personally found Black Mirror and its entirely foreseeable surprise ending boring as h*ck.

Also, GOG, come on. This is about the least enthusiastic coming soon message I have ever witnessed from you guys.

Seriously, that's all you have to do of your day. Waiting for the next release post on GOG then find any way you can complaint about it. I know I should not feed the troll but you (and a few others) are just transforming a quite nice discussion place into a ranting place and you'll probably win because the people with whom you could get an interesting exchange, even with diverging point-of-views, will be probably get tired and give up at some point.

And back to the game, finished the 3 original ones recently. Curious to see how the remake will provide a variation (if any) on the original game.

Doesn't look like a dystopian scifi thriller.
No relation to the TV show, though they sure seem to reference it obliquely in the pretty (and pretty useless) trailer. No clue at all how the game itself is supposed to play. Would be nice to know something about the game part of the game, eh?

The magic word is Unity . ;)
I wonder if they will remove original version once remake is released

You mean the trilogy ? THQ Nordic wouldn't do that .

I have no reservations against Unity. Unity is a great engine if used for the right purpose. It has served King Art VERY well for a long time. It has served them incredibly well in i.e. the Book of Unwritten Tales (those zooms, eh? Big love for those). But I guess that their projects are getting too big for Unity. Which is a pity, really. :(

Nah, I just occasionally pop in and look at the days "release", and I don't have to look far for something to complain about. Pretty much everything is a spiral downward into another shovelware site. Mind you, its saving me a fortune.
Hadn't realised there was a new rule, only post positive GOG fanboy items on this forum.
