Build a city without the stupid EA limitations and bullshit. Looks nice, has style, what's not to like? Steam.

Time to get it here, for Windows, Mac, Linux.

Vote and check it out.

It looks like fun, I personally loved SimCity (2013) as I have 90 something hours in it, and this looks like just as much fun. Though, anyone know the chances of it making it to GOG? Like it's published by Paradox (right?) but they've only really put older games like CK1 on here...

They had to start somewhere. Besides, I don't want to buy a game again and find out it's here a year later. That feeling sucks. DRM-free or the highway.
I've been keeping my eye on Cities since it was announced. I've not played any city builders since Simcity 4. EA has literally destroyed the Simcity name with Societies and the even more hideous and atrocious "Simcity" 2013 and I've boycotted both. Then they have to make a "Simcity' F2P crap on the mobile platforms.

From forums and livestreams, Cities Skylines looks to be the city builder that I will play. Real zoning, huge city sizes, curved roads, complex traffic system, realistic flow, RCI demands like in Simcity. I've already bought the game and can't wait to play it today. The game is open to modding. I'm currently working on bringing the buildings I've created for Simcity 4 to Cities Skylines to see if they work.
Except it ain't on GOG. A shame.
TotalBiscuit has given some positive feedback for it too. I wouldn't expect for another few days or a week for him to post a WTF for it, but his unofficial stream gave some good commentary on it. And the short blurb on Co-Optional.
Paradox just started publishing on GOG, so it's possible that the city builders will also come to GOG. Although, if there's going to be a crapload of DLC it might be a problem, the current GOG system really lacks on that front vs Steam.

If this game gets good reviews then it goes on my "totally instabuy @GOG" list.

I'm still rocking SimCity 4 when it comes to city building..

Go talk to them! I can start with Cities in Motion.
Maybe GOG can put a DLC list in the game's page like what steam does. Make it more attractive for Paradox to come here except that their DLCs aren't DRM-free. I personally won't bother with DLCs unless they're gameplay ones and so far I've only been buying them at -75%.

There is a list.
See for example: http://www.gog.com/game/sword_of_the_stars_the_pit

Right side near the buy button.
If they end up doing DLC for GoG, i kinda hope they just bundle it all together in a single DLC download. I really don't like buying several pieces of DLC, but i don't mind so much getting 1 DLC if it adds a lot more to the game.
Looks good, might buy it on Steam next month.
Skylines looks really good, like what Simcity 2013 should have been. Ah, the Sims games... so many memories. Too bad it's all been thoroughly crapped on and flushed down the toilet.

I get the feeling that the deals with GOG and the big publishers has a 'no support' clause in there somewhere. The deals seem to be lining up so that GOG gets the 'Legacy edition' of games, only games that are old enough to no longer warrant new patches, DLC, mod support, etc. Whether this might be true with Paradox, I don't know. But I'd be more than willing to buy a no frills gold version of Skylines at full price. I know a lot of us here would.
Im really surprised how good the game reception is. It really seems to be the next SimCity game that I was hoping for. Definitely wan't to see it here now that we have Paradox on board and obviously Cities in Motion 1 from the same developer.

Also its very good that Cities: Skylines has a Linux native version.

Seems to be pretty stable on release.
