This one and the WWI "Lost Vikings / Trine" game were two I really wanted and actually wished I had picked up back before I retired my console. I'd love to see them here but... well... Ubi...

Anyway both games did look fantastic, polished and whimsical times ten. Like playing your favorite fairy tale or childrens' book from the 1920s.
Would like to get it, but I only would want it on Wii U or PC and I don't have a Wii U and I refuse to use U-Play. Shame because it looks fun :(

misteryo: Beautiful artwork.
True, the art style is pretty. However the game itself is unfinished. As in it is clear that there where meant to be multiple endings but do to Ubisoft pushing the developers to meet the deadline, they cut that out and used the most neutral ending.

In an after credits scene there is even some dialog between the characters saying that the player could finish the game in a better way (getting all the collectibles) which is a left over from when there where more endings.

This games tried so hard to look and feel like the indie titles that had a big following at the time. Not saying it's bad, just unpolished.
Wäre gut wenn ihr Child of Light auf gog.com bringt.
One of the best games of the last 10 years and the best Ubi game for sure. JRPG mechanics without the Japanese silliness, a Western style fairy tale instead.

It is finished for all intents. Sure it had stuff removed for various reasons, as do all games. All games get culled of content from development for all sorts of reasons, doesn't mean they are not finished. I'm reading the Bitmap Bros SNES book at the moment and it seems every developer comments on how they had to reduce intended content by as much 50% for deadline and storage reasons and some things just could not be optimised for intended performance. The Secret of Mana had 60% of its development content removed apparently. It's still finished though.
