First off,is there a place where I can find Conan comics or novels?I really want to read those.
Anyway, anyone watched the Beastmaster;Hawk,The Slayer or Flash Gordon?Good old 80's cheese fests that never get old.
Hell,I love Krull and Arnie's Conan movies, which I consider some of the best of sword and sorcery movies.
The 1st Conan wasn't cheesy. All the others you mentioned were beyond cheese. :P Needless to say I worship them all.

Beastmaster and Red Sonja are so great but as cheesy as a Pizza Hut joint.

Comics were cheesier in the 1960s :P

Exactly. That one is a totally legit great fantasy movie. The second one... still better than the new one from a couple years back, but not very good.

I love Flash Gordon, wonderfull sci-fi adventure. It's criminal we never got a sequel (though maybe we will).

Hawk the Slayer was rather boring, Krull on the other hand I liked a lot. The Deathstalker series is absolutely wonderfull in the "so bad it's good" department. One of my personal favourites is The Sword and the Sorcerer.Good action, surprisingly good visuals, awesome ridiculous three-bladed sword, and that princess... oh my.

The sword or the princess? The this.

Breja: The sword or the princess? The sword "worked" like this.
Nice blade and princess but the sword is more impractical than the dual light saber.

That just celebrated (I think it's 25th) anniversary. There is not a bad frame in that movie. My favorite is when Timothy Dalton pulls the rifle off the tripod, blast some guys, and then FOR NO REASON AT ALL kicks over the tripod. :P
Did no one mention Dragonslayer? Fantastic movie. I also liked Lady Hawke, only I wont admit it in mixed company. Labyrinth, Legend other good ones. Ooooh, and Dark Crystal. Those beetle things freaked me out for years as a kid.
Check Amazon or other online booksellers for the Conan books and comics. Restored texts of the original pulp stories aren't hard to come by these days. Just make sure the only name on the cover is Robert E. Howard and you should be fine.

The first Conan movie is kind of cheesy. "Crom laughs at your four winds, wauuughhhh!" Conan growing muscles on his entire body because he's forced to push a giant wheel (what is it, like a butter churn?) for like 10 straight years. Conan is cruel to animals for no particular reason. Conan is such an obedient slave that his master has to practically kick him down the road to make him accept freedom. Conan repeatedly getting his ass kicked. Crom praying to Crom for help (because he can't do anything on his own) even after he said earlier in the movie that Crom hates people who pray to him. He really is a colossal pussy compared to the literary or comics versions. But the movie has an awesome soundtrack so much is forgiven.
Had some Conan comics (in french, as that was the only available version around here at the time). Those were made by Roy Thomas, a man that is a legend in its own way. He created or revived plenty of comic books, heroes and superheroes. And he worked for both Marvel and DC.

Roy's comics are in sync with Howard's work and they definitely felt like a continuation of the books. So those are definitely something to read if you like Howard's books. You could probably find those fine Marvel series on ebay or Amazon.

Unfortunately i can't say anything about the Conan series that are made by Dark Horse, though some of them were made by Kurt Busiek (quite a decent writer)
Funny you should mention Hawk, The Slayer, it was in the news recently that it was getting a re-vamp:

I woud not call all those movies cheesy, especially not Dark Crystal. Labyrinth i'm not sure, maybe I'm just not seeing it cause I'm biased, I love it so much. One of my all time fantasy favourites.

Legend is a visuall treat, and the soundtrack by Tangerine Dream (definately the superior version for me) is superb, but the story and characters are rather bland. I still like it, but more as a long music video than a proper movie.

Dragonslayer is a strange one. It's actually darker, deeper and more somber than I expected. The cheese mostly attack at the very end, and that ending always seemed tacked on to me, like it really should have, and was supposed to end, 10 minutes earlier, but a more friendly, happy ending was added at the last moment.
