Far as I know the only notable shareholders are part of the company in the management and on the board. These are the ones making the calls. The others dont even have enough information to make any sane decisions. And the management misleading them in that way is (AFAIK) now what they are mad about - and IMO quite rightfully in the manner that if I would have been a shareholder making buy (or not sell) decisions based on that conference call I would be quite mad too I guess.
