Most GOG games are on Steam too. :P
You just can't find them on Steam because there's so much crap to filter through.
Been replacing my steam games with gog versions when they come out spending less and less time on steam now and as more games come here it will end up being less money for gabe and co.

Also prefer the fact that i can back up my games here and retrieve them whenever and not have to worry about being online to play them.

Was contemplating starting to build my library here some more with the sale since they're adding Galaxy but my 2 experiences with it this week were
1) King of Dragon Pass. Start game, main monitor resolution drops to extremely low, no game. Had to manually put the res back.
2) Omerta Gold Edition, which despite being a complete edition only installed part of it's DLC and the last big one I had to manually download/install.

So afraid to say it's been put on the backburner for me for the foreseeable future.

Aye, it would be more accurate to say GoG has a better ratio of good games. At the moment I still think of GoG as less a replacement for Steam and more of a supplement, to be taken twice daily for all your gaming nutrients. Gotta' keep those Vitamin G levels up.

I been pretty much the same but it's less "brand loyality" and more to do with the ammount of shit thats on Steam now then anything else. I just can't be bothered spending needless amounts of time searching through mountains of trash to find something I maybe interested in that isn't a well known indie or big AAA title. It's one of the reasons why I never bothered with Desura and should GOG go that route then I probably will be buying less here too.
I see as many interesting and non-interesting games and good and bad deals on both stores.

Fail to see the logic in buying something twice especially when you still have access to the game.
