Ok this may have something to do with the updated shelve stuff thats been going on. Basically when I try to download
Heroes V plus Hammers of Fate which is the two that's bundled (Tribes of the east is separated for some reason) it says it's completed at like 30 MB which i know is not true. Please help.

I guess you are trying to download them through the downloader? People have reported issues using the downloader on unbundled games, so I'd suggest you use direct download for those.

I tried that but the weird thing is the 2nd part which is the big part downloads in a weird way. it downloads like it's a rom for a snes emulator. (snes9X) don't know a way around that. maybe use another browser or something (i'm using firefox)

For big games, GOG separates the installer in multiple files; 1 for the executable and the rest for .bin files. In the case of Heroes V, there is one executable (which launches the installer) and one .bin file that contains the data files to be extracted. You need both of those files in the same directory in order to install the game.

Ok that i think i have it installing now. I don't understand why part two downloaded as a Snes9x rom though. i'll let you know if this works.

that is a bin file and thats the actuall game
those are the installer files
the first part is the installer front end

you need both files in the same folder to actually install the game

it is not a snes rom file its a binairy file
ie a bin file

A .bin file is a container and isn't limited to ROM games.

It's definitely an SNES rom, burn it to a blank cartridge, and you're good to go.
Ok everybody it's installed and ready to play. So thanks. Also to the GOG staff. fix the downloader issues please. Honestly you should of done more testing I think, but it is what it is.
You mean my advice didn't solve it for you? :)

That would've been cool, but i'm not sure a SNES cartridge could hold 2.3 GB of gaming. :D
