Any recommendations. It's not like I always had the issue. I was going perfectly fine with Still Life in November 2017. Now both it and Still Life 2 are giving the exact same message.

Did you just install windows 10 big update by any chance? That seems to have broken various this for people. Make sure you still have direct play enabled in settings, I also heard someone needed graphics drivers re-installed, but i don't have anything to support that. It sounds more like a directx/play issue to me. Try re-enabling/installing that.
I was one of those that needed to reinstall the graphics driver after that big autumn update on Windows 10. First I had to uninstall the current one and that was a bit difficult as the normal methods did not work. Windows 10´s big twice yearly updates have a tendency to mess up things and change settings and reinstall things you already removed, programs/apps from Microsoft.

Sadly nothing has worked.

Contact support, top of the website.
Oh and you will need to specify some system details, what you have tried, and what errors there are. Just saying nothing has worked isn't helpful.
