Great, just what we needed, another one of these threads... :\
What I don't get is how Canada can have it's own currency when it's not even a real country. ;P
Is the price in American dollars not the equivalent in Canadian dollars? That is, once the conversion is done is there some unexplained discrepancy (just to clarify, is there a regional price difference?)?
Edit: American "dollar" doesn't make sense.

There are regional price differences between CA and US only for the four Witcher 3 items.

However, concerning the OP's complaint, I believe he thought the price he was being asked to pay was in CA dollars, not in US dollars and realised his mistake only after the purchase (CA dollar = 0.72 US dollar, plus conversion fees, if any).

Have you tried pressing Alt+F4?
1 CDN = 0.75 USD
Maybe going to
http://www.xe.com/ (Currency conversion site)
could help a little bit.

I'm aware of convershion sites. But if CDPR expects me to use GOG then they better do the math for me just like they do for the southerners

Depending on your bank or credit card company at least in Australia sometimes they have slightly different conversion rates and charges so I don't think it would be possible for gog to do that fully.
We just call them Scooby Dollars.

Of all the possibles examples you could have brought, Australia is probably not the best, because GOG does allow Australians to buy in their local currency (AUD), which is what the OP is asking for.

The currencies currently supported by GOG are USD, AUD, EUR, GBP and RUB, I believe.
