I've already successfully ran GOG connect and added some games to my library. Afterwards though, I remembered I had another sitting in my Steam inventory and added that to my Steam library. Now, I am unable to sync to my GOG account again. I am not certain if this is just the general connectivity issues everyone is having due to high server load, or if we are only permitted to successfully run the "Connect" once per each 5 day round.

Not to be an asshole, but it sound like you already ran it twice, and it failed on the third attempt :)

There is another thread start about 15 minutes ago that mentioned connect problems. So probably general issues everyone is facing.
You can run the process an unlimited number of times. They said it might take up to 24 hours before GOG will detect any new additions to your Steam Library. I believe this was in the GOG Connect FAQ.
You can refresh GOG Connect as many times as necessary to find new eligible games, in case you have added more eligible Steam games in your Steam account. The problems and errors in the process are for overload/connectivy issues/glitches that need to be fixed. I guess those were expected, it's Day 1 for this new system after all, and maybe we will get the same or similar problems every time a bunch of new games are added to the list of eligible games next time if GOG doesn't fix them by then. Just patience, and keep trying a few hours later ;)

Yea, I misread your post because the portion about adding to steam library from inventory.
I dont know why, but mine has started saying OOPS something went wrong. I havent run it more than once, its still refreshing since the system is kind of bogged down atm. Still weird though.
