He-man was one of the greats. If you go back now and listen to the moral lessons after each episode, it's surprising how good they were.

As it was known to South Florida retailers I had the entire collection

I ended up giving Eternia to the Salvation Army when I left Florida; everything else sold on ebay for the price my parents paid for the collection brand new (I had them all out of package and played with of course) so got my parent's money back.

So is this documentary coming to theaters (that would be a bit odd..can see only three people sitting in the theatre) or just straight to DVD?

Tough question

I for one think it's an insult to the show, but others may disagree.

Frank Langella and Meg Foster both hit home runs, and play their characters true to form, but the rest of it is a mess. If it weren't for the names of the other characters being constantly yelled out you'd have no clue who from the show they were.

It's not really a very good movie, and you must pretend that it's not actually a 'he-man' movie because it doesn't fit at all with He-man; but it's interesting enough as a generic science fiction movie from that time. Not a great one, of course, I would describe it as mediocre, but it's far from the worst. It might be worth watching if you go in with low expectations.

Only second to the Bo-Starr
ones.

If Dolph Lundgren wearing underwear in the middle of the 80s kind of movie set with cheap visual effects and ridiculous plot is your thing, then yes. *

But if you're into action figures, movie based ones were among the coolest ever. Like Saurod, there's a button in the back and when you push it, sparks fly out of his mouth.
