KING-TYPO: not that i know of. i also dont know any hippos except for that boy in that one song that wants one for christmas.

By the way, for anyone interested in this sort of thing... All 10 of the games I got cost well more than $3.00 and I'm not talking about just their base price I'm talking about their price today in this sale. So maybe all of the games you buy are cheaper???? That's pretty cool actually. If it were real gambling GOG would be doing it wrong.... lol... the house isn't supposed to "lose" on every bet...

I got several 5.99 games, but I'm not complaining. Some were 19.99 games, currently sold for 9.99.
To me it's more about forcing you to play a game you won't play otherwise, so hits and misses are okay. Plus, this sale had more hits than misses.
I just wish they didn't give you several games from a single series. If you don't like the first, you'll probably won't like the second...

in my opinion i got what i consider to be rubbish, i wish they would make these giftable whether you owned them or not

though i never get anything remotely passable when i try in these things

KING-TYPO: seriously? Is this platform becoming a Micro Transaction-esk or MTX now? also is the game that you unlock yours to keep? or do you then have to buy the game once the sale is unlocked for it?
It's nothing new, GOG has done this a few times before.

Why on earth would you have to buy the game again? You're paying 3 bucks for it (or whatever your local equivalent is). Some people seem to like this format, but it's not my cup of tea. And yeah, as noted, they've done this type of thing before.

OldFatGuy: It's a forum bug. When you post a new topic (doesn't happen when adding a post in an existing thread) and hit "Submit" the cursor just spins and spins, the box stays there, and the letters at the bottom get all jumbled up looking like something is wrong. So lots of folks have been created duplicate posts thinking their original didn't get posted. You're not alone.

But for the future, there is no need to keep posting... even though it appears as things have been messed up, your new topic does indeed get posted.
None of my new posts ever got posted. I wasted a lot of time writing up some cool posts, and they're all lost forever. I don't bother anymore.
