Well this is technically a gaming deal but doesn't really fit into the context gaming deals thread, so what the heck, it probably deserves its own thread. Bundle of Holding has been going on for some time already. Rather than being about digital games, however, it bundles PnP RPG eBooks. The current one is Bundle of Fate, which includes:

8) Legends of Anglerre
9) Starblazer Adventures

Note that Anglerre and Starblazer will not be distributed anymore after this month, which is why Cubicle 7 is selling them at bundle/discount prices. It's probably the most value-for-money bundle I've ever seen on BoH.

Also, I'm sure there is an old Bundle of Holding thread, but I can't find it now. Anyone got the link to it?

The latter. The Bundle of Holding offers books. Most of the time it's roleplaying rules and supplements.

I quite like the BoH bundles and I've bought a couple of them.
This one didn't really grab me, nothing really stands out to me and the bundles are a bit too expensive to buy for the heck of it unlike say the Humble Bundles.
They are usually good value for your money though and it deserves its own thread, even if there aren't that many people that care on these forums. (seemingly anyway)

interesting bundle...but ive got already crapload of pnp's which i havent had time to play. Especially Tremulus is pretty much burning on the shelf atm.

Interesting that it's $8 this time around. I bought it for $4 the first time.

What games were in the first bundle? I know one of the reasons they brought this back was because of Anglerre and Starblazer

As usual, it gets more tempting for me the closer it gets to being gone.

Have you tried FATE before? I didn't like the system at first, but it slowly grew on me. FAE is great for younger kids, especially my students, since it is rules-lite and narrative-heavy.

I have not, the descriptions didn't sound all that great to be honest because I quite like the combat/mechanic heavier systems. But I have already been stealing concepts like the bonuses for cool descriptions from Exalted and such, so I'm thinking I might quite enjoy the FATE system as well.
I would've loved it if they had included the Dresden Files RPG btw, I loved those books.
It's nice they're implementing a user account system now, managing the bought bundles was kind of annoying with just the e-mails with the unique keys.
