I'm sorry to see that your thread was derailed. It's a worthy topic.
In China, they call kids who grew up after 2000 "strawberries" because they are soft. The world I grew up in was more rough and mean. Yes, I was bullied. Sometimes I fought them, and although I usually got hurt I am glad I did. The experience taught me a lot. Nowadays I realize that the bullies car from troubled homes and had problems in their families that probably caused them to suffer all their lives.
Today, if a bigger kid hurts a smaller kid they will call the police or something. That is too much.
