Digital Homicides suit against 100 customers of Steam and Valve itself is not being pursued. They’ve decided to drop the case, and in result the company is no more.

Looking forward to a Jimquisition over this.
An outcome absolutely no one saw coming!

I'm somewhat disappointed at this outcome coming up so swiftly, though. Had expected at least three more rounds of drama lasting another 2d6 months.

Ah well, good riddance!
And for once evrybody in the gaming world is happy. We won't miss you, Digital Homicide!
Their actions were probably just trolling.

This is actually quite a shock. Not that they dropped the lawsuit, nor that it was frivolous, but that it has come to that conclusion already. I thought it would drag on for a few months at least. Now I have all of this popcorn I bought for nothing!

Sue them for it, claiming that money you spend on popcorn are now could be considered loses caused by their actions! :)
and nothing of value was lost
Good riddance, but Digital Homicide is just a small part of a much larger problem with Steam's Early Access/Greenlight. It's tarnishing Steam's rep imo.
Maybe they'll be back for another round?
Apparently the lawsuit against Jim Sterling is still ongoing. Plus, is it really difficult to start up a new company, perhaps with a strawman or two on board, to releasy crappy games under? I'm hopeful that there is still some entertainment to be had on that front...
Hopefully it doesn't affect the livelihood of the developers/artists at the companies that actually make the generic cookie-cutter game assets that Digital Homicide used. Yeah, probably not. :)

Oh right! I forgot about that, so I do have a use for my popcorn afterall! :)

I can't help but to feel they were expecting to be "white knighted" about the whole thing. They cried of bullying and expected the always so vigilant internet knights to the rescue, buying loads of their games in order to make boo boo go away.
A shame, it was sort of entertaining.
And of course now they won't get into Digital Heaven.
