Hey guys, my question is pretty much just what's in the topic. My brother purchased the game yesterday from GMG and I purchased the game from steam. I've already preloaded the game and my question is will he have to download it again too or are most of the files just transferable.

i dont know
Is the GMG version redeemable on steam? Back it up and restore in the other machine if so.
Wasn't GMG selling GOG keys? If so, you might have to download it twice. Almost for certain if you donwloaded the steam copy, if it's the GOG copy you've got, you could try copy-pasting the game into the steam install folder and try to check the files, and steam *probably* would download the difference only
I think tomsanity is right.
I believe the GMG version is a GOG code
"Brother Purchased on GMG, I purchased from Steam"

Someone should probably tell your parents that there are better ways of getting children than buying them online.

you'd be surprised how hard adopting children can be these days.

Indeed. But would you really want a child bought on Steam? It might end up being Early Access, having to spend months in neonatal care.

As long as it's DRM'd with my DNA, I don't care about details. There was a nanny DLC with 75% discount.
