jamyskis: I'm waiting for the full retail version, provided that Nordic Games releases it DRM-free.
With the exception of Book of Unwritten Tales 2, I don't think that Nordic has released a DRM-Free retail game lately. Hell, even their rerelases (like the SpellForce Collection or Titan Quest Gold Edition) now require a Steam account.

Elmofongo: Thoughts?
Honestly... don't care, I was very hyped for this game during the original KS but nowadays... bleh... I just don't care anymore...

And it has nothing to do with Schafer political agenda but rather because of the game itself; I was hopping for an old-school point and click adventure game similar to DoT or MI, but instead I got a rather boring short ultra easy one with barely any puzzles to speak of where it definitely looks like 99.9999% of the budget was spend on getting celebrities to do the voice over rather than on the rest of the game.

So unless Part 2 reviews proves me wrong, I will play it someday but it's definitely now very high on my "game to play" list.

Who knows it could be that Shadowrun Returns dissipointment but Dragonfall was great.

But this is not Shadowrun of course.

And I take it the story is not that great?

Who knows maybe; but if act 1 was all TS was able to do with 3.3 millions I hope he got at least 6 millions for act 2 :)

Well story quality is of course something definitely subjective but personally I found it "average" at best (at least what we saw of it in act 1). It's nowhere near MI, GF or even Psychonauts

I remember a time where people constantly sucked the $%^& out of Psychonauts and called Tim the "Developer that cares for Gamers"

Times sure have changed.

What makes you say that? Psychonauts is still the same game, and Double Fine is still popular with its usual fanboys and -girls. But don't believe the hype and don't listen to individual rants, just play the game if you're interested in it and form your own opinion.

djranis: talk about lazy development cycle, that also after people paid for the full game year ago
DF actually had to pitch in another 3 million or so in order to finish it.
