The works on the lightning-fast fusion of the FPS and action genres have finally ended. As of now, Bright Memory is a full-fledged DRM-free title available on GOG.COM. To celebrate this moment, we give you a 33% discount on this game from FYQD-Studio lasting until 2nd April, 1 PM UTC.

Zoidberg: FYQD-Studio ?

I'll try to remember that in order to avoid anything they make in the future. Shady stuff.
It was a single guy working on it originally and the non in-dev version cost 8$ (5$ currently).

If it was costing the price of a full game then yes it would seem a little shady, but here for 8 bucks for the amount of content it's pretty reasonable, especially if it gives you the "full" game later for free.

Lone_Scout: It's a trap!

Look at this notice and draw your own conclusions...

Maxvorstadt: So this basically means: We have done the game and now we won`t touch it anymore. Thanks for your money. Oh, and if you find some bugs, well, live with them, we`re done with this game!
No. Not really. Bright Memory was initially planned as an episodic release. The one we played here in Early Access was supposed to be episode 1. It seems they have scrapped that plan and are taking everything from Bright Memory and incorporating it into one game as opposed to episode releases.

The nice thing is they are giving the full game, BM infinite, to all purchasers of the early access episode. Not much to complain about there. :)

Just read the steam forums that there's no key rebinds, please anyone confirm this, as it's a 100% deal-breaker for me! It really sucks 'cause it looks like an amazing game otherwise!
Sorry, why is Trooper1270 low rated for putting this info in the forum? Really is about time gog did something of this offensive rating system. Almost every post is now getting downvoted regardless of content.
So is there any confirmation that Infinite will be given free if we buy it on GOG this week? I bought it on Steam before realizing it was here, but I would gladly refund it there and get it here instead if I knew I was getting Infinite (I know I would get it on Steam).

When the prologue was still InDev it did not support key rebinding. Don't know if that has changed since then.

If you don't mind a bit of tinkering, you could download and install Autohotkey. Configuring/writing a corresponding script should take 1 or 2 minutes max.

What info do you mean? The only post by Trooper1270 is the "Pop" in post 2. Was there anything censored?

Can you have separate profiles? If so, then this might be a solution for me; thanks for the info!
EDIT: Never mind I answered my question from the tutorials!

It seems that news posts only appear on the forums after the first poster has commented on them, so Trooper1270 just wrote "Pop!" (similar to "Bump!") in order to make the thread "pop" up here and get the info in GOG's OP some visibility here for everyone who regularly checks the forums but not the news posts that GOG hides at the very bottom of their homepage. The info that nightcraw1er.488 referred to is that the game has left development state and is currently 33% off. Nothing was censored.

Highlighting the main post was all he did, and it was low rated at the time. Glad to see it’s not down rated now. It is a real problem here though, almost every post now seems to get downvoted.

I must confess I usually downvote pointless forum pops (I don't see their point... If something is worth discussing or commenting someone will do it sooner or later, no need for them imo)
I guess now I deserve some downvoting myself...

Yes please, could someone give us an answer ?

ShadowWulfe: Weird flex, but ok.

So this campaign is different from the one in the early access?
Wishlist for now.
No, why is this so hard to understand
Bright Memory, the In Dev/Early Access (Preview/, or Test Beta) game has now left Early Access
This is that same Early Access preview, now released, and finished.

If you've bought Bright Memory already, or get it during this weeks release sale, it will entitle you to a free copy, of the full game
That Full game is Bright Memory:infinite, which is now the focus of the devs efforts.

This isn't shady, it's a good offer, but what is shady, is after this week, the previews price goes up to $10, yet it loses the full game entitlement.
If anything it should lower the price by another third, to about £1, if the full game access is removed, not raise it to £10.

Indeed if they'd made it clear that getting the Early Access version, was also buying the full game, they may have got my custom before now, as it was the fact this was a sold demo, with no access to full game promised, which put m e off buying it.
