The works on the lightning-fast fusion of the FPS and action genres have finally ended. As of now, Bright Memory is a full-fledged DRM-free title available on GOG.COM. To celebrate this moment, we give you a 33% discount on this game from FYQD-Studio lasting until 2nd April, 1 PM UTC.

If anything it should lower the price by another third, to about £1, if the full game access is removed, not raise it to £10.

Indeed if they'd made it clear that getting the Early Access version, was also buying the full game, they may have got my custom before now, as it was the fact this was a sold demo, with no access to full game promised, which put m e off buying it.

that article is more than a year old, and it has been fixed long time ago. there is only original assets now

Swedrami: When the prologue was still InDev it did not support key rebinding. Don't know if that has changed since then.

If you don't mind a bit of tinkering, you could download and install Autohotkey. Configuring/writing a corresponding script should take 1 or 2 minutes max.

takezodunmer2005: Can you have separate profiles? If so, then this might be a solution for me; thanks for the info!
EDIT: Never mind I answered my question from the tutorials!
I normally use GlovePie if I really need key rebinding in a game that does not support it. It has the big advantage that you don't have to install it. You can simply save a profile for your game and load it whenever you need it.

No, it is about an hour long. This still is not really long but you can do multiple playthroughs and trying to get better. The game looks and plays great and it's also quite cheap. Add to this that the dev promised everybody who bought this a free of charge copy from the full game which is supposed to be about 3 hours long. Imo well worth the money.

At £3.50 you can hardly go wrong, that’s cheaper than most “old game” releases nowadays.

Edit, I just finished it. It is short, 30mins or so, but pretty good fun. Looking forward to more content for it. If your on the fenced you could pay £50 and get mariodoom the glory hole killer, or pick this up for a couple of quid and have some fun.

I guess now I deserve some downvoting myself...
I thought that people were just farming rep by doing it. But then I realized that they are only doing the job GOG should be doing themselves.

Why is it so hard to make the thread appear on the forum the moment a news post gets published? People wouldn't have to do it then. Why doesn't GOG want a news post to get as much exposure as possible? Who knows...

Bit disappointed that absolutely zero people brought this up. Possibly postings of this information have been censored/removed.

And if posting this gets me banned from these forums for the sheer hypocrisy of GoG promoting/selling this game then so be it. GoG has denied Visual Novel authors the ability to be on the GoG platform because the person/people in charge of approvals have a severe negative bias against VN games. But they have no problem kissing China's posterior when it comes to promoting plagiarized trash.

Look at Post 31, then read Post 33. This has been resolved and is from a long time ago. There are VN novels here already.

Gersen: If it was costing the price of a full game then yes it would seem a little shady, but here for 8 bucks for the amount of content it's pretty reasonable, especially if it gives you the "full" game later for free.
If you will still get the complete game in the end I don't see anything shady at all. Originally you would have ended up with a "complete" episode 1 only and now you get the complete game later ... how could he? We really should avoid him and everything he does in future ;)

"Shady" in the sense that you pay full price for a prologue and the "promise" of maybe getting the full game in the future; the IF is the "shady" part.

And as we saw with several Kickstarters, a lot of things can happen even with the most diligent developers or seasoned gaming industry veteran are not a guarantee that this sort of promise will ever be satisfactorily fulfilled.

Personally paying full price expecting a full game, only after a couple of months/years in early access to receive a "prologue" and the promise of getting the full game in a couple of years, I would have found that a little shady.

But as I mentioned it's not the case here.
