In Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous you can create any character imaginable with the flexibility, richness, and depth of the Pathfinder First Edition ruleset. You can choose from 25 classes and 12 races, but what if you could come up with your own character, apart from those that already exist?

Share your idea for a new Pathfinder class or race in the comments and get a chance to win one of 20 keys for Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous!

The contest ends on September 13th, 6 PM UTC.
Naizdup class
You lose levels instead of gaining them. Its completly unbalanced but you get shiny achievement for playing it.
Would be nice to include a race similar to the Khajiit or Cat people from the Skyrim Universe, this race will have bonus to DEX, the ability to see in the dark and other attributes related to felines.
Pathfinder version of a thri-krin. fighter/ ranger with multi weapon gets so many swings
New Race: Crystites

Crystites are a race of crystalline figures that have only recently emerged from the deepest recesses of Golarion after being awoken by the opening of the rift to the Abyss. Their entire bodies are made up of crystals and gemstones and can be shaped and changed at will. While they are a secretive race that has stayed out of the affairs of the surface walkers, more are being drawn above ground by the increasing threat of the demon invasion.

Race Traits:

Crystal Attunement: Crystites gain +4 to a stat of their choice in character creation by attuning to it. The stat can be changed at any point during the game by resting and their crystalline bodies will reflect this change by switching to a color to match the chosen stat.

Crystal Form: Crystites can reshape their forms and choose to activate a permanent version of Enlarge Person or Reduce Person during rest.

Crystal Fortitude: Crystaties have no need for rest and never become fatigued or exhausted.

Good luck to everyone entering, there are so many great ideas in this thread. I can't wait to play Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous!

How about a race that is blind and yet has heightened senses of most everything else. So even the gameplay would be different. Msybe kind of a sonar-y view for the player and can hear almost anything, even a conversation across the tavern room!

My idea for a race is simple - spiderpeople. They have bonus movement and perception. They can also make a web trap once every rest.

A technical wrestler and pressure points expert class, specialized in removing the biggest threat from the battlefield, during which time the wrestler is also unable to take other actions but can slowly damage his target while also making it more vulnerable to his allies' attacks.

New Class: Mime. This class is capable of mimicking the actions of other members of the party. Every level it can take on one skill from another class. It can also just repeat what others have just done.

New Race: The Mirror People. There is a hidden world where every person's reflection lives. This race is a reflection that has entered the "real" world. While presumably The Mirror People are perfect reflections, most of the similarities are only skin deep. And some of these reflections seem to be of creatures and species that don't seem to exist in our own world...
New Class: Shield Breaker

A support class that is focused around crowd control and mitigating shield and armour defense at low levels and at high levels outright destroys or disable the use of shields and exposes major weak points in characters armour for other party members to exploit. As a result isn't particularly tanky or a high damage output but if utilised correctly can quickly swing encounters in your favour.
Loving Ratfok but I prefer something new so:

As a new race I would chose an Umbra.
Amorphous creatures from the Shadow Plane. They posses Shadow Magic and can blend into the shadows, traveling this way, they silently and unseen get into any character's shadow as a parasite as well. When they find a host of their liking they rise from their shade as newborns taking the traits from their host. So they are some kind of copycat on the outside and inside. This way the traits and abilities from the host are copied and added up to the Shadow Magic (similar to the Fetchlings (race from the Pathfinder's pen and paper)). Once born they can't change back.
Umbra's though, are sensible to the light. And Light Magic damage them twice. They can't copy Aasimars and Celestial Magic is quite harming to them too. So we have:

Their appearance and traits are the same as the race they have born from though the sclerotica of their eyes is black as night and they lack of shadow as they are one themselves. +2 racial bonus on Dextery and Stealth
Plus the ·Shadow blending and resistance. Darkvision but low-light vision so thats -1 Perception to the original traits.
They can use disguise-self once per day as spell-like ability. Other abilities get put back by their original nature that makes their self steem quite low (they search deeply for their host because of it, they want to be cool) so they are poor leaders but good support characters. -2 on Charisma
Short and sweet: I do like a necromancer.
Bliss Druid

Gives out energy of sheer joy.

Able to heal allies frame of mind/mental state.

May cause evil entities, such as demons, to become incapacitated, and in worst cases make them literally vomit, by bombarding them with saccharine images, such as of children and fluffy animals frolicking in wild meadows.

Can make enemies so delusional with happiness, they think they’re winning, even when they've no longer got any arms or legs.

Has no effect on the Undead and other mindless creatures.
I would like a class/race option that allowed you to play as what everyone thinks is an animal companion, but actually is Psychic Horse with a Player Companion Thrall that you, a seven hundred kilogram Clydesdale that uses the thrall to interact with the world. e.g opening doors, climbing trees for sweet apples. This would add a lot of character depth as horses are typically longer in length than humans

I think there is a lot of space for class specific tie ins to the main story, as well as heartbreaking, comedic and heartwarming dramatic reveals with the companions, especially the romantic options when the companion realises you are. This gritty and truthful moral grey area is rarely addressed in modern video games. I believe that with the RIGHT writing staff would tie flawlessly into the game's advertised themes of the nature of good and evil.
A race of sentient Cephalopods that have learned to create modular exoskeletons that let them walk on land, and gramt them spell-like abilities.
New Race: The Soulforged

The Soulforged are mages in their old age, who wish to prolong their existence and not to be bound by their mortal flesh. They disdain necromancy, instead they transfer their consciousness into powerful inanimate bodies, such as golems which they create themselves, forging their soul into them. This process is despised by most of the mages so the Soulforged live a solitary life in pursuit of knowledge.

These new bodies become their vessel, each with their own different and unique characteristic. Some of these bodies are crafted from rare and precious metals, making them a force to be reckoned with in the battlefield, or helps focusing spells and casting powerful blasts of destructive power.
