Was it something like a rail gun? Electromagnetic propulsion applied to a bullet like in that movie with, er, Arnold Swarz-en-something trying to protect a witness or something? If I had more time to research the movie listings…

Pretty much, I spent around 450 cad in materials to make it 8 years ago. I can't find the vid anymore but it led to a site that shown how to make it and I needed some crazy batteries for it as well which was hard to find.

I don't think I have the gun anymore but I will look through my parents garage to see if it's still kicking around if lucky.
