aegislee: Nothing inappropriate with you and your country even your ideology , if you west people do not support the HK independence only becaucse those people enounced the word "freedom" or "democracy". Meanwhile west media report little about the terrorist attacks in HK which now torment ordinary people.

kai2: It might behoove you to watch more in-depth coverage across multiple outlets on the protests and situation. Oh wait... you're in China.

Some of us know more about this situation than you think.
Though I can not watch youtube.com without VPN, I advise you to type "It's extremely dangerous to our democracy" into the bar and watch it.

the history of "China" or " the Communist Party of China " are both rebel history.
The Party knows that , we Chinese people knows that.

aegislee: GWENT: Thronebreaker must be so boring, otherwise I would play it all night.
What did I say does nothing between countries and the misunderstanding.
So PLAY the game , before I can login GOG and buy games to support CD Projekt RED in China.
If GOG.com do some statement, i may say goodbye to genuine game.

It's not a perfect country, but it's my country. It's our homeland.
It is your country... and many of us are arguing for your increased participation and say in your country's government... and your freedom to gather information of all viewpoints (making up your own mind)... and in fact be critical of your government when warranted.

And when you bring up visiting China (which I think it's interesting that you default to the idea that some of us haven't been to China)... there's no issue with the Chinese people. People are people.

Back OT...

I think it's interesting that Tencent.-- which owns 5% of Blizaard -- seemingly owns 48% of Epic. If 5% and a gateway to China (companies must have partial Chinese ownership in order to enter Chinese market) is enough to bring this kind of censorship, what does 48% bring?
Boss is boss, it's global rules.
You miss the RIOT and Inter Milan (Football club).

Man,in peacetime, money means everything, because the order and rules.
In war time, bullets means everything, and every country drew national boundaries only in the wartime.
It's truth, otherwise you're too weak, as China hundreds years ago.

Of couse some of you haven't been to China.. almost 6 blillions are outside of China, and most of them stay in their country all through their lifes.
We have the Internet in 21st century, but still barely know nothing about others —— The Grate Fire Wall and ”Democracy media" or "the Party media" you might believe.

Zadalon: Maybe it is a good time for Gog to make an official statement about this sort of matters.
Considering the history of all the previous GOG statements, it's better for them to keep silence and as low profile as possible.

In fact, the main reason why Blizzard now in this very situation is that for years company posed as a "progressive ally" who bragged about "minority representation" in its games and claimed to support various "oppressed and marginalized" groups. With all those kind of statements people expected (well, some of the most naive people anyway) Blizzard to stand up against China's push on HK. Since all the problems with human rights in China and people in HK potentially being forced into becoming real minority under real oppression.

But, of course, the moment money (from Chineeze market) became a concernt, Blizzard immediately took 180 in its "support for underrepresented voices".

Given how controversial and political the discussion became after you joined the discussion, I'd say it's a really, really calm response. I expected all your posts to be downvoted to hell, the thread turned into a war zone, then closed by staff members and some users temporarily banned. I assure you, this is civil.

This is Game Community.
This topic and posters accuse other game company for his Chinese profit.
So it`s absolutely about GAME?

I know the worst.
I support Blizzard.
I assure you, this is civil.
now,you can downvote me.

Relax, don't get stressed out about it. You can't undo decades upon decades of brainwashing by western mainstream media with a few forum posts.

Virtue signaling at its finest. Tim Sweeney has already shown himself to be a lying piece of shit who will use cutthroat means to elbow competition from the market. Forgive me if his words ring hollow to me.

Agreed, I didn't say that his words rang true and he surely has forgotten the face of his father. He played his cards right and capitalized on the misfortune of Blizzard.
